The more years that pass, the harder it is to not sound like a broken record. Every year we find ourselves more appreciative, more productive, we identify more success, we feel more growth, and every year we express that in a way that still does not feel adequate for explaining to you what we’re experiencing. Our clients are the driving force behind what we do, and words continue to fail us when “thank you” does not feel like enough.
In the search for some inspiration, we found a quote from Henry Ford that reads “Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success.” This feels like the closest we would come to the best description. 2024 felt like a weekly (sometimes daily) discovery of beginnings, progress, and successes as a group. It was a constant sentiment that none of us have ever worked with such a like-minded group of people and persisted in the way we showed up for ourselves, our coworkers, and our clients. That harmony was the driving force behind our accomplishments this year.
Growth is rarely an accident.
In 2024 our owner Megan began Dream. Create. Grow. Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to providing financial support and resources for pediatric therapy services and equipment. The foundation provides scholarships for occupational, speech, and physical therapy to support the needs of adaptive equipment, therapies, transportation, and community outreach. Though it is in the “newborn” stage, the work that has gone into getting this foundation off the ground has been nothing short of intentional. Since being announced, we’ve already begun receiving donations to help facilitate the dream of what this foundation will become. The foundation will continue to grow in the new year and we have plans for events in 2025 that DCG will be at the forefront of.
Lively Therapy Services in 2024 progressed in the way we expected it to when we moved to Kannapolis, and we are unbelievably grateful for that. Every inch of our business was touched by growth in some degree this year. We hired in every discipline, our referrals have more than doubled in the last year, we had to convert several rooms to account for the need for more treatment space, and the amount of muffin mix and string cheese we have to buy in the month now is trending towards unbelievable. Though we did face some hardships, they would have felt much harder without the support the team had for each other. Lively saw the ins and outs of being a business moreso than we ever have and we still remain dedicated to being one of the most reputable therapy clinics in Cabarrus & Rowan County (for starters) by bringing you the best treatment we could regardless of the difficulties happening behind closed doors.
We truly want to thank you for your continued support and dedication to our clinic and our cause(s). Our success equates to the reason for our business, the foundation of why we started, and that’s the commitment we have to our community. We have felt incredible support from those we work so hard to provide for and to. Our determination is to keep our vision clear on how we can continue to provide to those that need it in 2025. We thank you so endlessly for being on this journey with us.
