Jessica Stewart
PTA
Jessica Stewart graduated from Central Piedmont Community College in 2024, receiving her license in Physical Therapy Assistance. Prior to transitioning into the world of physical therapy, she began her career as a professional dancer, choreographer and dance instructor, obtaining her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Dance in 2011 from the University of North Carolina Greensboro. She discovered her love for physical therapy following a dance injury requiring surgery and rehabilitation. Movement has always been a passion and driving force in Jessica’s life, and she is thrilled to be able to use it as a tool to help others reach their goals and overcome barriers. She has always loved working with children and continues to teach dance today, which is why working in pediatrics is so special to her! She believes that nothing compares to the look on a child’s face when they develop new skills and make progress towards accomplishing things they may not have believed they could do.
When she’s not working or dancing, Jessica loves to spend time with her husband Jonathan and their 3 cats. Being an Asheville native she loves the outdoors, especially the mountains. Some of her favorite activities include hiking, kayaking, camping, and spending time with friends and family.
